Happy St. Patricks Day Everyone! So today we are to wear green or we will be pinched, but does anyone really know why? I wore green and so did my son. I sure did not want to come home with bruises like I did in school that year I forgot to wear green. Well, I did a little research and here is why we will get pinched. Ok so here is the thing, the people in Ireland think we are crazy! They don't even celebrate this day like we do. We always take things and make them bigger then they need to be (an excuse to drink {green} Beer). We came up with the pinch thing because we heard if we wear green on this day we will blend in with the leprechauns and if you DON'T wear green the Leprechauns will see you and pinch you. We are weirdos! LOL Oh well either way it has become yet another fun holiday for us Americans! Here is a fun picture of my son this morning dressed in Green so the mean ole' Leprechauns don't pinch him :)
